Coconut Biscuits

2 cups flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tsp salt

½ cup butter or margarine

1 cup milk

2 tablespoon creamed coconut

1 cup sweetened flaked coconut, toasted


Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  Combine the first four ingredients in a large bowl.  Cut in the butter until the mixture is pea-sized.  Add the remaining ingredients and stir until dough is formed.  Drop onto a cookie sheet to make 15 biscuits.  Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.  Serve still warm.
