  • City Poem

    Welcome, weary traveler

    We’re so glad you’re here

    Put down your bags

    And breathe a spell

It’s been a long, long year

    Perhaps you’d like to meditate

Or walk in a snowy wood

    Take in a concert

    Then talk with friends

    Recounting what was good

Warm your hands ‘round a cozy cup

    Filled with your favorite brew

    Sip . . .slowly

    Savor the scent

    Settle in and renew

    May your inner compass

Be what guides you on your way

    However you choose

    To celebrate

    We honor your holiday.
