Trained at Kathalaya’s International Academy of storytelling (Bangalore, India) by Ashoka Fellow and veteran storyteller Geeta Ramanujam, Shereen is known for her physical storytelling style that integrates elements of music, dance and theatre. She is a passionate advocate of oral storytelling with a rich repertoire of traditional folk and mythological tales from India. Mentored by Paola Balbi, one of the most significant personalities in the International Storytelling revival scene, Shereen has performed widely in group shows and storytelling festivals in UAE, Italy and India.
