Baba Mzee’s Stuffed Blue Fish

Fish

8 pounds blue fish, filleted

A pinch of fresh thyme

A little sliced ginger

A little fresh garlic

A pinch each of curry, cayenne, and Cajun seasoning

 

Rub cleaned fish with fresh lemon.  Combine the remaining ingredients ,and rub the mixture inside the finish.  Marinate fro 24 hours in the refrigerator

Stuffing

Chopped green and red sweet peppers

Chopped onions

A little sage

A pinch of cayenne

 

Saute together and stuff in marinated fish.  Bake at 400 degrees until tender, no more than one hour.  Serves 5.

 

This can be served with rice.
