Family Reunion Dumplings

Dumpling Wrappers

2 cups all-purpose Flour

. cup water

*Or you can also buy them from Asian supermarkets



1 pound ground pork

Half finely chopped Napa cabbage



. cup finely chopped scallion

1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger

1 tablespoon sesame Oil

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoons cooking rice wine

1 teaspoon white pepper powder



  1. Combine all the seasoning in a small bowl
  2. Squeeze the cabbage with hands and keep the cabbage juice
  3. Combine the cabbage juice with the seasoning and set aside for 10 minutes
  4. Mix pork and Napa cabbage with the processed seasoning in a large bowl

until thoroughly combined

  1. Place a dumpling wrapper on a lightly floured work surface and wet the edge

with a little water

  1. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the middle of a dumpling wrapper

and crimp it together forming small pleats to seal the dumpling

  1. Repeat with remaining dumpling wrappers and filling
  2. Put the dumplings in boiled water for 10 minutes and add some cold water

to boil for another 5 minutes.
